Strengthening women’s development planning in Papua New Guinea
ANUE supported PNG’s Women in Mining Steering Committee as they strengthened their ability to empower women in mining-affected communities.
For many years we have demonstrated our ability to source the right experts, match them with appropriate support services, and deploy them throughout Australia and our region for a wide range of clients and participants.
Our small size and responsiveness means we can tailor these services to address particular needs — from a single researcher undertaking a desktop study, to a large multi-disciplinary team delivering an integrated program of activities over multiple years.
ANU researchers work with government, industry and non-government organisations on key policy challenges facing Australia and the region.
The university also hosts a variety of flagship centres and institutes that are home to leaders in their fields; academics and research students who are playing an active role in matters of public debate.
ANU is a founding member of the International Alliance of Research Universities, a member of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, and has joined the edX online learning platform founded by Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
